I know seeing the scale go up 3lbs is very hard. Don't get too down on that number though. The average American gains 7-12lbs from Thanksgiving to New Year's!

You have a drive in you that will keep you going. You will have those lbs gone before you know it.

A good night's sleep will do wonders for you also! Get a nice hot bath, have a warm cup of tea and drift off. At my house, I'd also have to duck tape the mouths of the children, tie them down to their beds and get DH nice and liquored up until he passed out, to enjoy a peaceful, uninterrupted 8 hrs of sleep! (DH's got a cold and is snoring)

I made banana nut bread and didn't lose any weight while it was in the house! It's been gone for 2 days and I've finally lost some again!

That is great! You are doing a really good job,

I am currently trying to wean myself from the sugar that I became addicted to over Christmas. I should be honest...the CHOCOLATE I became addicted to over Christmas. I was at one piece a day and doing great....then Christmas came. I am back to about 1 piece...well...most days! I am trying to add the fruits and veggies back in that I have replaced with pastas and breads! I am about 3 lbs heavier than before Christmas and would like to be down a little more. I think the regular excercise, a good nights sleep, and some wholesome veggies and fruits are my plan for the next month or so!
